a play date and some blog hopping

While we were hidden away in our house for three days we had some friends over for a play date and they brought their scrumptiously adorable babies!  Bishop seemed so big compared to them and the reality that he is a toddler and not a little baby anymore set in.  He towered over them like Godzilla.

Everything was going great and it was all fun and games until this happened…
IMG_3924 Somebody thought it would be cute to creep over and whack  sleeping Cannon on the head with a farmer while I was trying to take a picture of him.  He was caught red handed. He won’t be able to babble himself out of this one.  I’ve got the proof!
After the little cutie pies went home and mine went to bed I did some blog hopping and I want to share some fabulously creative blogs that I was exploring.
I love reading a local girl’s blog, Finding My Feet.  After losing a precious baby girl and now close to delivering a healthy baby girl (YAY!!!) she blogs about her faith and some impressive crafts she does.  You’ve got to check out the dolls she made for Christmas gifts.  I’ve never met her in real life but her blog is very inspiring.

From her blog I hopped over to Soule Mama whose blog I’ve been stalking all weekend long.  I’m obsessed with it!  She is the epitome of a crafty tree hugging mama.  Her and her family, including all four kids, went and worked on a farm for three weeks.  I would give anything to experience that.  Well…maybe not all of that but I do think it would be an amazing experience.  I’m buying both her books and I’m determined to learn how to sew so I can become crafty too!
From her blog I hopped over to Sarah Jane Studios which is full of whimsical art by the author.  I love her illustrations.  They make you want to climb into their world.  She also has the most precious Gerber looking baby that I could eat with a spoon!  Can you tell I am just itching to have another baby?
