if Etsy had a baby gift registry...

this is what would be on my list to welcome Lyric with...

A sweet little fawn teether from Little Alouette.  It's made from locally sourced hardwood and polished off with certified organic flax seed oil.  This is how toy making should be!  I don't see anybody recalling these in the near future.

A fun chenille burp cloth  from Ragamuffin.  I love that you can customize it by choosing between a great assortment of  fabrics.  Ragamuffin is  Raechel Myers' shop who also happens to be one of my favorite crafty mommy bloggers!

I adore little woodland creatures.  Especially this little fox with a removable hoodie from Little Green Fern's shop or maybe the bunny with a baby on it's back!  So cute!

Adorable mary jane's with matching hair clip from Posh Little Bebe.  As a bonus she uses organic and eco friendly materials and packaging in her shop!

I am in dire need of a good diaper bag and I think this one from Hayden J should do the trick!  It's nice and large with an awesome Anna Maria Horner fabric that I love!

This "hip pouch"  would be beyond convenient when I'm on the go with two kids but I'm not sure I could pull it off.

Lyric is going to need sunglasses to shield her eyes from all the bright graphic patterns that I naturally gravitate to.  No pastels for this girl! This "noonie" definitely makes the baby registry list.  It's like a little pea pod for babies. I love it!

{Well...that was fun!  I could spend hours on Etsy!}

keep calm and carry on

I've been eyeing this poster from the shop pressureless on etsy for awhile now and I finally ordered it!  It's a replica of an old WWII British poster that acted as a reminder from the King that everything was fine and taken care of.
With the uncertainty of where our country is headed and the everyday stress of being a mom and business owner I could also use a little reminder to keep calm and carry on!  Couldn't we all at times?
Oh and did I mention that the poster is printed on recycled paper that comes from a green energy mill?!  I think that was the final selling point for me!

Sew like a pro!

Ladies (and maybe some gentlemen) dust off your sewing machines!  I have got an easy project for you that will make you look like you've been sewing for years!  Oh So Sassy on Etsy has come up with a genius idea.  They sell you a sewing kit complete with pre-cut fabric, elastic, safety pins and easy to follow instructions. All you need is a sewing machine.
Take a look at a couple things you can make and take all the credit for!  Your friends will be so impressed!

Sewing kits for skirts start at $15 and $18 for dresses.

Etsy Halloween Finds

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays but not because I'm into scary, gory stuff.  It's quite the opposite. I'm such a scaredy cat that I can't even watch a preview for a horror movie without frantically searching for the remote while covering my eyes (I told you I'm a scaredy cat)!

It's the creativity and fun things to do for the season that I love.  I love decorating, going to pumpkin patches, carving pumpkins and dressing up.  Halloween is even better when you have kids because it's such an imaginative time for you both to share. I've been having so much fun looking at costumes for Bishop and I found some adorably creative things for Halloween on Etsy.  Take a look and get inspired!

I want to have a girl just so I can put her in this tutu from Sweet Life In The Valley.

These Cowboy & Knight Onsies from Willing Hands Crafts are all boy and a steal for $11!
