Text Safety

We all know that texting and talking on your cell phone while driving can be a huge distraction and dangerous.  Teenagers are shown to be 4 times more distracted and almost 60% off all drivers between the ages of 18-24 admit to texting while driving. That is very alarming but as a mom it is comforting to know that there is something you can do...  


If you have a teen you have to look into Text Safety. It was developed by a father to protect his daughter and other teens by preventing car accidents caused from texting.  Once the software is downloaded onto the phone it can detect when a vehicle is moving more then 10 miles an hour and will disable texting.


Thankfully we won't be needing this for Bishop's cell phone anytime soon...not that he even has a cell phone but I still do worry about all the other people out on the road that are texting while driving and putting our lives along with theirs at risk.   I'm getting gray hairs just thinking about Bishop's teenage years!  He might have to be the "uncool" kid who has no cell phone or car.
