Nashville's historic flood
My beloved city of Nashville was hit hard this week with epic flooding. Within the first two days of May we received three times the amount of rain that is averaged for an entire month! The death toll continues to rise, people are missing and thousands are homeless and the amount of cleanup is immense. Families have lost their homes and everything they've worked for and our city which was already hurting from the economy will be hugely impacted by this disaster for a long time to come. It's hard to wrap my mind around it. My heart is aching for everyone suffering and I feel so thankful that I have a roof over my head tonight.
