top ten springtime must-haves for kiddos!

Here are some things that we are loving this season!

1. fun tee & cargo shorts

2. a good hat

Bucket hats are great but why not shade the sun and look super cool with this ranger style hat or straw fedora!

3. play shoes
They have to have some good shoes to get down and dirty in!  I love these because the velcro straps make them easy to get on and off!

4. wagon

There was a lot of debating over which wagon to get.  Jeremy wanted the classic old school one while I wanted one that had seat belts and cup holders.  Thankfully I won because Bishop has tried to throw himself overboard at least a dozen times already. We all love it, cousins and friends included! It's great for rides around the neighborhood or to take to the farmer's market if you have room in your car. There is also an optional sun shade available.

5. backpack

Bishop loves this backpack carrier!  He has a blast being up high and able to see all around. It is essential for hitting the trails!

6. sunscreen

My friend Amy at Whole Foods recommended this sunscreen for us.  I love it so much that now I'm telling everyone about it!  It's broad spectrum non chemical sunscreen with certified organic ingredients like shea butter, olive oil and my favorite...lavender essential oil!

7. quick snacks
Our pantry is stocked full of these yummy snack bars.  Peanut Butter & Jelly is our favorite!  The ingredients are so simple and healthy...peanuts, dates, cherries and salt.  That's it!  No hidden ingredients or words you can't pronounce. I always make sure to have one in my purse or Bishop's backpack because you never know when you'll need it!

8.  sippy cup

This sippy cup has been through a lot of wear and tear at our house and it is still going strong with no leaks! It is made out of BPA free stainless steel and keeps water and juice cool when it's hot outside.  The food container is great for holding fruit and snacks.

9. picnic gear

I love going on picnics.  Most the time they are held in our backyard but it's still fun to have all the gear for them!  The Land of Nod is one of my favorite online stores for children and I feel in love with this roomy  woven picnic basket they have on their site.  The picnic blanket is great too because it's water resistant and reversible.  When your done with it just roll it up into it's bag!

10. romper

Ok..so I know that I can sometimes leave out the girls because all I have on my mind is boy stuff!  But if I had a little girl and she didn't have a soy allergy like my son does then she would definitely be sporting one of these adorable little rompers around.  They are made out of soybean protein fiber and are eco-friendly.  So cute!

Love your list! I've been looking at picnic baskets and love the one you posted. A sippy cup that stays cold?! Going on the amazon order list!

Oooh fun, and I LOVE the straw fedora - sooo cute! I adore hats on my little boy. And the converse sneaks are way cute, too. What a fun list!
