I planned on doing a little research maybe buying a couple books on the subject and then I would get the vintage cowboy fabric I have been eyeing. But when I was at Hobby Lobby the other week I jumped right in and bought the fabric anyway. I think I panicked when I saw that the 30% off sale that was ending that day. I didn’t even know how much to get or what a yard would look like so when they asked me how much I wanted I just told them to give me what the girl in front of me got. Let’s hope she’s make a twin sized quilt too!
So here it is waiting to be crafted into something beautiful or not so beautiful. Who knows how this is going to turn out! I’ve given myself a year to complete the project. I thought that was a realistic goal. I’m making the quilt to one day go on Bishop’s “big boy” bed so I think I’ve got plenty of time. Wish me luck!
Oh and do you like the drawer pulls I just had to have on my ill-planned shopping trip to Hobby Lobby? I still need to go back and get the other two that I forgot about!

ok... you're officially out of control with your craftyness!! :)
and can i just say that i love you for totally copying the order of the person in front of you? lol!
I hope she wasn't making curtains or something!
I know! I just ordered a book of 101 sewing patterns. I bet it will have lots of cute things you could make for your baby! Maybe you should get crafty too! We could have a quilting bee at work! :)
