{out and about in Downtown Franklin}

Yesterday I had a nice lunch with a new friend, Raechel, who was so sweet to give me the most adorable burp cloths from her Etsy shop for Lyric.  They are almost too pretty to use! Afterwards I decided to take a walk around downtown hoping to kick start labor.  Monday I'll be 40 weeks!  At my midwife appointment yesterday I was 3 cm dilated and 75 % effaced which I'll gladly take over nothing but I'm ready to have a little more action than that!

I was excited to be able to stop into some of my favorite shops. Downtown Franklin has the most amazing home decor shops full of eclectic goodies.  Normally I am only able to window shop because these stores are not so toddler friendly (understandably of course). It was a treat getting to wander around as if I had all the time in the world and imagine where I would put everything in my house if I had a limitless credit card.  Ahhh...the damage I could do!

Here is a little glimpse at two of my favorite shops.  I could have taken a lot more pictures but I didn't want to be the crazy camera happy lady.  The shop keepers were probably already worried that I was going to birth my baby on their antique Louis XV settee at any moment.
