Here's a little tip that has been working fabulously at our house so I wanted to it pass along. If your little one is picky when it comes to certain foods because of their slimy texture try rolling them in flaxseed meal. This makes it easier for their little fingers to pick it up. My baby rejects bananas and avocados unless they have been rolled in it! Not to mention all of the amazing benefits that come from Flaxseed like fiber, protein and antioxidants. One serving contains 2,400 mg of omega-3's! It is wise to feed it to your baby before bathroom though because it can be very messy but that's the biggest appeal of it for them...just don't say I didn't warn you.
